It's the largest fundraising total in the history of the Martha's Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite.

Even without its holiday hotel suite, the Martha's Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite raised $49,852 in 2020 — the largest fundraising total in the 10-year history of the event, according to an announcement from organizer Guinevere Cramer.

"In addition to online fundraising, the event created for this year, Teddies Around Town, a holiday scavenger hunt, was extremely popular," Ms. Cramer wrote. "We were able to create a family-friendly, safe holiday event."

Over the years, the teddy bear fundraiser has brought in more than $265,000 for the Martha's Vineyard Boys & Girls Club and its after-school program, Ms. Cramer wrote.
