An abundance of sweet corn from Morning Glory Farm will be distributed to Islanders in need on Thursday in Vineyard Haven.
Gleaners from Island Grown Initiative will distribute surplus sweet corn from Morning Glory Farm to Islanders in need on Thursday at St. Augustine's Church in Vineyard Haven, according to a poster created by the non-profit.
The pick-up is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church, where the IGI mobile market will also be stopping from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
To pick up free corn, customers will pull up and tell a staffer how many ears they want. IGI workers will bag up the requested corn and place it on a table for contactless pick-up.
Face coverings must be worn.
