June 2 is the reopening date for the gatehouses at Dike Bridge, Wasque, Mytoi and Norton Point, according to an announcement from the Trustees of Reservations.

While over-sand vehicle traffic is already open, permits will be checked beginning June 2.

In a departure from past practice, over-sand vehicle permits are being sold online only, according to the announcement.

After permits have been purchased at thetrustees.org/mvosv, they may be picked up at the Trustees’ Vineyard Haven Office at 860 State Rd., Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., or at any Trustees gatehouse on the Vineyard after June 2.
