Pink & Green Weekend, the annual Edgartown celebration of spring and Mother’s Day, is moving online this year, according to event organizers at the Edgartown Board of Trade.

The merchant group has notified its members that for the weekend of May 8 through May 10 it is setting up virtual versions of such popular events as the dog show and five-kilometer run. Other distanced activities include the Mom of the Year essay contest, open to all Island schoolchildren.
