The Island Wide Youth Collaborative was recently recognized by the state as one of the top three family resource centers in the commonwealth.

Beginning Nov. 1, the collaborative, which operates under the wing of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services, was designated a full-service center.

The new designation will allow center funding and staffing to grow and better integrate with other programs including the Family Center, Community Services said.
