The Aquinnah communty response team will host a free first aid training on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the town hall.

The class, led by town emergency manager Gary Robinson, will be hands-on and practical. It is the first of a two-part series that aims to educate townspeople on what to do in the event of an emergency. The second session will be held on Oct. 26.

All are welcome, including from other towns.
