The Martha’s Vineyard International Film Festival began on Tuesday and hosted an opening reception on Thursday night. The movies and events continue all weekend, ending with a closing night party on Sunday at La Soffitta.

Films are screened at the Film Center and the Capawock Theatre. Spend the weekend on-Island but traveling the world. Today’s films alone transport the viewer from Denmark to Iran, Germany, France and Belgium.
