MVY Radio and Old Sculpin Gallery will host a collaborative fundraising event, Canvas & Chords, on Saturday, August 3 at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum in Vineyard Haven.

The event features a silent auction with over 50 works donated by well-known Island artists and a live auction hosted by comedian Marty Nadler. Boston-based trio The Ballroom Thieves will play two sets in their signature vintage jazz-style.

The two nonprofits envision the partnership event as a unique opportunity to use both art and music in the promotion of Island community. The Old Sculpin Gallery turns 65 this year and MVY Radio turns 35.
