I just heard the news of Peter Simon’s passing. Although I didn’t know him well, he was a casual friend of my family, living close by in Chilmark.

He took some family photos for us that I still enjoy to this day.

Not being able to visit the Island on a regular basis, his “On the Vineyard” series and calendars helped ease my homesickness considerably.

Thank you, Peter. You will be missed. One love.
