Last year Tivoli Day turned 40, which was a big celebration. But really, life begins at 41 so make sure you head to Oak Bluffs on Saturday, Sept. 15 for a day of fun and frolic on Circuit avenue, rolling from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The name comes from the historic Tivoli Dance Hall which roared in roaring twenties. Those days are over; sadly it is unlikely a group of flappers will dance their way into your heart on Saturday. But there will be music and food and shopping and all the delights a September day on the Vineyard offers up. The crowds are smaller, the smiles bigger and the pace just perfect.
