Fill your belly and your creative spirit on Sunday at the annual Potters Bowl held at Featherstone Center for the Arts. The idea is as basic as it is wonderful. Purchase a newly created ceramic bowl and then fill it with soup and eat it. You get to take the bowl home, of course, to fill it with soup from your own kitchen every day if you want.

The event is August 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. The cost is $35 per bowl. There will also be a silent auction to benefit Featherstone.
