West Tisbury Farmers' Market Begins

Vineyarders it’s time to get your greens on — the West Tisbury Farmers’ Market is opening up this Saturday, June 9 at the Grange Hall in West Tisbury.

The market runs from 9 a.m. to noon each Saturday during the season and on Wednesday too, beginning June 27. The market was founded in 1974 “by a ragtag group of hippies, Yankees and retired English teachers,” according to its website.

Today it’s filled with a variety of farmers and vendors featuring local produce, coffee, bread, soap, the list is long. Bring a bag, better yet, bring two or three.
