After a career that has spanned 40 years, 7 months and 12 days, Debby MacInnis is retiring as the children’s librarian at the Edgartown Library.

After a career that has spanned 40 years, 7 months and 12 days, Debbie MacInnis is retiring as the children’s librarian at the Edgartown Library. Ms. MacInnis began her career on April 20, 1977, bringing the joy of reading to children of that era, and then later to those kids children and even grandchildren.

There will be a celebration on Friday, Dec. 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. Everyone is invited.
