Snobbery, rudeness and a false sense of entitlement have no place in our fund-raising events, especially when it is practiced by board members and the more wealthy volunteers at these events. I for one will not tolerate it, hence this letter.

Those who work these events, whether paid or volunteer, all have the well being of their chosen nonprofit at heart. Expressed appreciation goes a much longer way to furthering that goal. Please think before you speak or act.
