I want to thank the Edgartown police and especially officer William Bishop who organized the wonderful dinner that they served to the elderly in December. The Edgartown firemen provided the dining room. This is the third year we elders have been treated to a grand dinner, organized and paid for by the police association, and hosted at the fire department. Where but on the Vineyard would elders be treated with such kindness and grace?
