Each year during the offseason months the churches around the Island take turns hosting community suppers on each day of the week.

Each year during the cold and potentially lonesome offseason months the churches around the Island take turns hosting community suppers so that each day of the week anyone who wants or needs to can get a free meal and share in the company of others. The meals are free and everyone is always welcome. The schedule is as follows:

Monday — St. Andrew’s Church, 34 North Summer street, Edgartown, 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday — Chilmark Community Church, 9 Menemsha Cross Road, 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday — First Congregational Church of West Tisbury, 1051 State Road, 5:30 p.m.

Thursday — Good Shepherd Parish, 56 Franklin street, Vineyard Haven, 5 p.m.

Friday — Grace Episcopal Church, corner of Williams and Woodlawn streets, Vineyard Haven, 5 p.m.

Saturday — Trinity Parish House, Oak Bluffs Camp Ground, 5 p.m.

Sunday — Edgartown Federated Church, 45 South Summer Street, 12:30 p.m.
