A day of celebration is in store for furry friends. The annual celebration of pets takes place Saturday, June 6 at the Harbor View Hotel.

The festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. with a blessing of the animals by Father Michael Nagle of the Good Shepard Parish.

Up next is a parade of pets around the Edgartown Lighthouse, with Clifford the Big Red Dog leading the way. All pets will be provided with water, special treats, and a ribbon.

Pets and humans are invited to gather on the front porch of the Harbor View.
