BiodiversityWorks is looking for volunteers. The Vineyard nonprofit has many ongoing opportunities for people interested in helping out with wildlife projects around the Island.

Currently, the organization is erecting symbolic fences (stakes and string) around beach-nesting bird sites to prevent them from being trampled by people and dogs. There are also ongoing needs to help with chick-sitting (protecting piping plover and tern hatchlings) and tracking northern long-eared bats and the life cycles of river otters.
