Brian Cioffi of Chilmark took first place in the Rod and Gun Club’s Top Gun fall championship honors. Participants in the Nov. 30 competition shot in three categories — over the shoulder, bulls eye and standing deer. There was a three way tie for second place — Matt Cromwell, Mike Ferry and Brian Welch.

The annual Black Powder Shoot takes place Sunday, Dec. 14, at the club. Guns with scopes will be allowed. This event is open to the public.
