Island Celebrates Quiet Veterans Day

The national holiday will be celebrated on the Island today. A parade begins at 10:45 a.m. at Nancy's in Oak Bluffs and proceeds to Ocean Park. Schools and government offices are closed. A mild autumn day is in the forecast.
