I couldn’t agree more about the lack of planning which resulted in the insensitive scheduling of a community event which excluded a small but significant part of this ​Island. I am referring to the Living Local Harvest Festival.

Jackie Mendez-Diez said it all. Last year, when Living Local was​ planning this event, I am sure that there were ​many dates available; ​to pick the weekend of Yom Kippur was insensitive. ​Choosing a​ different one would have made it a real community happening.
