The quintessential autumnal event is here already. Pick your own pumpkin or take a trip on the hay wagon on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Farm Institute.

Their solar greenhouse is nearing completion, so if you have a hammer or a hand to lend, the farm is happy to accommodate. There are limited quantities of pumpkins so it’s first come, first served. The hayrides, however, happen every hour. For information, call 508-627-7007.
