The 25th annual Friends of Martha’s Vineyard Family Planning Art Show fundraiser begins with a gala at the Agricultural Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 22.

The 25th annual Friends of Martha’s Vineyard Family Planning Art Show fundraiser begins with a gala at the Agricultural Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 22. Gala-goers get a preview of the art created by Island artists for the annual show while munching on creations by Herring Run Kitchens and listening to tunes by Jeremy Berlin. Tickets for the gala are $50, with the proceeds benefiting Friends of Family Planning.

The gala is followed by an art show that takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Agricultural Hall. Artists donate at least 40 per cent of the proceeds from sales of their artwork to Friends of Family Planning. Everybody wins.
