The MV Center for Living is hosting its first fundraiser of the year on Sunday, April 13 at 3:15 p.m. at the Martha’s Vineyard Film Center in Vineyard Haven. Cocktails and a matinee benefit will include a screening of Away From Her starring Julie Christie, a film about Alzheimer’s disease and a strained relationship that came from one partner living at a facility. Wine, hors d’oeuvres and light desserts will be served before the movie. After Away From Her, a question and answer session with Karen Achille facilitating and Eileen Murphy and Leslie Clapp fielding the questions will take place.
