The Moth Mainstage performances by Buddy Vanderhoop, Jenny Allen and Bill Eville from last August will air on public radio station WBUR/WBUA (90.9, 92.7 FM) tonight from 9 to 10 and again Saturday on WCAI (90.1 FM) from 1 to 2 p.m.

If you missed The Moth Mainstage at the Tabernacle last August or want to relive some of the stories told there by Vineyarders, you’re in luck. Performances by Buddy Vanderhoop, Jenny Allen and Bill Eville will air on public radio station WBUR/WBUA (90.9, 92.7 FM) tonight, Jan. 30, from 9 to 10 and again Saturday, Feb. 1, on WCAI (90.1 FM) from 1 to 2 p.m.

The three Islanders and others told tales of survival onstage before a sold-out crowd at the Tabernacle last August. Buddy’s story centered on a harrowing 36-hour fishing trip that nearly cost him and his passengers their lives. Jenny told of stumbling on a surprising email in her 13-year-old daughter’s mailbox. And Bill talked about his intensely personal journey with his family during his wife’s treatment for breast cancer.

Bill, I rang that bell. Your story hit very close to home. I don't have breast cancer I have Chordoma. The on air break that I did after your story aired was one of the hardest I have ever had to do. Continued good luck to you and your family.
