The Vineyard Haven library hosts a two-part series in honor of the late Nelson Mandela beginning with a screening of the film Invictus at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
Then on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m., author, photographer and West Tisbury resident Alan Brigish will lead a discussion at the library on Mandela’s Legacy and the South African Freedom Chapter: What is Next?
Mr. Brigish grew up in South Africa and met with Mandela in 1999. The late South African president worked as a law clerk for Mr. Brigish’s father.
