Congratulations to the
Richard Barbieri Oak BluffsCongratulations to the Gazette for doing exactly what Ms. Gould asked for, an assessment of the presidential visit's impact, and on its front page. Sorry to hear that some Chilmarkers were "inconvenienced" by the President's visit. Next time I guess we should go back to electing presidents with family compounds on the water in Kennebunkport, 668-acre California ranches, or 1500-acre Texas ranches. Then the poor ordinary Chilmarker (average 2011 property value $1.5 million) won't have to be inconvenienced by an urbanite seeking a getaway from the heaviest responsibilities in the world.
I don't own any property in
Katherine TisburyI don't own any property in Chilmark, or on the Vineyard, and I was inconvenienced by the closure.
