Alessandra Marisa Boniface, daughter of Paul and Marisa Boniface of Essex Fells, N.J., and Edgartown, was married to James Michael Hagerty, son of Robert Hagerty and Barry Nevin of Edgartown, on Saturday, Sept. 10, at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Edgartown.

The bride is a graduate of West Essex Regional High School and Stonehill College. She is currently employed at the American Statistical Association in Alexandria, Va. The bridegroom graduated from the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School and has a degree from Northeastern University. He is now a captain in the Marine Corps serving as a company commander at Marine Barracks in Washington, D.C. The couple currently lives in Arlington, Va.
