Falling 20 voters shy of a quorum, the Edgartown special town meeting was rescheduled for next Tuesday, Nov. 1. “Bring a friend,” Edgartown selectman Arthur Smadbeck advised the 139 voters who had assembled to no avail at the Old Whaling Church Tuesday night.
