Grandparents are invited to share their love of reading with their grandchildren on Friday, April 29, after school, beginning at 2:40 p.m. at the Oak Bluffs School.

Among the activities will be a book launch party for Kate and Jules Feiffer’s brand new picture book, My Side of the Car, which has been called “one of the best little picture books to hit the market all year.” Kate will be there to sign books and talk about this Vineyard-inspired story. There will also be a car-shaped cake and other culinary and literary surprises.
