Island Book Art Winners

The Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce has selected the winners of the 2010-2011 Island Book cover art contest. All sixth graders were invited to submit their creations on the theme of Island animals, wild or tame (no ticks please).

The winners are: Astrid Tilton from the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School, Chase Silvia from the West Tisbury School, Kaitland Marchand from the Oak Buffs School, Mya Houston from the Tisbury School, Michaela Delphin, a home-schooled student, and Sara Poggi from the Edgartown School.

Each winner will receive a $100 United States Savings Bond and their artwork on the Island Book.
