Pep Art Grand Opening

A new art gallery is bringing a more contemporary, less Vineyard-centric flavor to the already buzzing Island art scene this summer. Pep Art is opening its doors with a launch party on Sunday, May 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. at its Vineyard Haven location on Beach street extension, off Five Corners. The party provides the public with an opportunity to meet artists/owners Elizabeth Cecil, Carrie Mae Smith and Greg Watson; as well as the work they are showing, which includes contemporary painting, photography and sculpture from both Island and off-Island artists.

General gallery hours this weekend are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday through Monday.
