The Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School Drama Department will present Rent: School Edition, Feb. 11 to 13, at the Martha’s Vineyard Performing Arts Center.

Show times are Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., with two shows on Saturday, 1 and 7 p.m.

Tickets are $7 for students and seniors and $10 for adults.

Rent was written by Jonathan Larson and originally performed in 1996. The musical, a modern adaptation of Puccini’s opera, La Bohème, tells the story of a community of artists who learn to live and survive during the height of the AIDS crisis in New York city.
