Down Island Farmers’ Market Opens for Summer

<p> Local farmers, caterers and artisans will be at the Tisbury Wharf to open the Down Island Farmers&#8217; Market on Tuesday, June 23. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. select the freshest produce, gather prepared delicacies, sample local cheeses, grab Island-made biscuits for your dog &mdash; it&#8217;s all there on Tuesdays at 144 Beach Road.</p>

Local farmers, caterers and artisans will be at the Tisbury Wharf to open the Down Island Farmers’ Market on Tuesday, June 23. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. select the freshest produce, gather prepared delicacies, sample local cheeses, grab Island-made biscuits for your dog — it’s all there on Tuesdays at 144 Beach Road.

The many offerings include fresh produce from Morning Glory Farm, Oscar’s Eggs and vegetables from Thompson Farm, prepared foods from Lobster Tales and Kitchen Porch Catering, honey from Katama Apiary, olive oil and balsamic vinegars from Olio di Melli, and fresh baked treats from Common Ground Bakery. Reflexology treatments and rejuvenating facial products also are available, as well as photography by Linda Condlin.
